Hello, I’m Laura

Laura is a poet, stay-at-home mum, and carer based in Hertfordshire, UK. Navigating the complexities of ADHD and a neurodivergent family, she loves to weave the tangled threads of life into words that make others feel seen, heard, and valued.
Drawing also from her years lived with chronic illness and the tragic, sudden loss of her mother, Laura’s writing is a deep dive into the messiness of being human—exploring the struggles, the profound questions, and our ever-present yearning for connection.
As a neurodivergent soul, she acts as a compassionate witness, refusing to look away from the dark and difficult. In 2023, she published her debut poetry collection, Beyond the Dark.
Her favourite things are walking, charity shops, deep conversations, tea, and cake (preferably all together).
Holding on gently.
